We will be cooking the following :-
1.Mushroom Tikka Masala
Mushrooms marinated in a yogurt sauce with herbs and spices and baked, then served in a tomato gravy.
2. Onion Pakoda
Onions dipped in a batter made from gram flour and spices and served with salsa.
3.Besan ka puda
Indian way of making pancakes by combining gram flour with fresh veggies and spices
4.Mint Chutney (salsa or a dip)
5. Aloo gobi
Potatoes and cauliflower are cooked with onions, tomatoes and spices.
6. Bangen ka Bharta
Smoked eggplant mashed and cooked with onions and tomatoes
7.Jeera rice special rice flavoured with spices.
8. Special Non alcoholic drink
Workshop will be a mix of hands on and a demo. We all will get involved in cooking and cook the dishes. All the time during the workshop I will be sharing many tips about ayurvedic cooking.
Do send me an email in advance if you are a vegan so i can prepare.
Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the cooking class will receive a 50% refund. All cancelations within less than 48 hours and no-shows will not be refunded.
It’s possible to send somebody else in place of you if you decide due to some reason that you cannot make it.
My name is Akash Mhetre by profession I used to be a Software engineer. I am from India. I have been vegetarian almost all my life. Whatever I will teach I have learned from my mother and few workshops that I have attended in the past. I have developed my passion for cooking while travelling all over the world and volunteering for cooking at many places.
